Hackney Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) is a partnership involving the London Borough of Hackney, City and Hackney Teaching Primary Care Trust (CHtPCT), Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), London Probation Area (LBA), the East London and City Foundation Trust, Job Centre+, the National Treatment Agency (NTA) and many statutory and voluntary organisations, committed to tackling substance misuse and its consequences in Hackney. The DAAT is a Sub-Board of the Safer Cleaner Partnership Board (see structure below).

The DAAT Board has an executive team responsibility for implementing and monitoring DAAT Board decisions and the roll-out of the DAAT Strategy 2008-2012.
The DAAT Support Service has five teams: DAAT Management and Communication Team; DAAT Commissioning Team; DAAT Community Action Team; DAAT Criminal Justice Team/DIP; and DAAT Assertive Response Team (DART).
