Hackney DAAT Achievements 2008/2009

• 1319 Problem Drug Users in treatment to December 08 (NDTMS)
• 1744 People in Specialist Treatment Modalities from April 08 to March 09 
• Reconfiguration of DAAT Treatment premises to reflect service user needs and treatment journey
• Commissioning arrangements improving: Joint Commissioning Group; Care Management Panel; Services re-tendered to offer more integrated treatment delivery and VfM
• Improving integration through Hackney Models of Care common assessment and referral tools now rolled out and supported with frontline training; Performance Monitoring Group monthly; Service Audits & Contract monitoring
• DART service now up to full staff complement: 59 referrals to services to March 08
• Working on improving Safeguarding Children/ & Hidden Harm agenda with partners in SCB
• Service User Support: Training; Service User Council; CHOICES Friday Club; ‘Bubbles’ Group
• Changes to Young People’s Commissioning and service delivery; Operational protocol on Youth Drug dealing
